Christians come in all shapes and sizes. I went to central christian today and while i was waiting for the service to start i just looked around and people watched. I was really amazed to see alot of young people in te crowd. Alot of them people you would expect to see at a late saturday night party and not up early in the morning sitting in a church pew. I saw this group of boys... about 5-6 of them ranging from the ages of about 15-18... they came together. Just them.. no parents! Amazing that they want to come to church on their own. No parental force necessary! Everywhere i looked i saw young people rejoicing for God. I even saw young people who came alone... they just stood in solitary worship for god. They didn't need friends to come to church! I also saw this guy.. with hair worthy of a punk rocker and he dressed like one too, but he was lifting his hands honoring God during the praise and worship. So amazing...
Plus during the service, there was a plea for donations to buy a new exercise bicycle for a hadicapped child who needed it to exercise as to drain the fluids in his body! His bicycle was stolen believe it or not! WHO would have the heart to steal something from a child like that? But it was sooo amazing how God worked in the congregations hearts for as we were singing the final invitation song streams of people descended the stadium stairs and walked to the front of the church to place money on the offering table. The entire church united to help this boy :) i'm liking americas... alot of them have been brought up so well. Many good christian values have been instilled in them as children. It kinda rocks being in a christian country instead of a muslim one!
Nothing much has been happening, next week both my online classes will come to a close.. and i have two finals! i'm kinda worried because my grade average for my advertising class is 90.6%! I am at the borderline of an A and i need an A for this class to get my 4.0!!! i have to do really well for the coming test and for my last assignment due thursday! *crosses fingers*
omg how could i forget? K hacked into my email account again, this time changing the password, secret question, secondary email address and profile info therefore there is no way for me to reset anything and i can no longer access my msn!!! blardy idiot! it is such a shame that someone from such a strong christian background can behave in this manner! I feel sad for u K, for having held such a terrible grudge in your heart against me all this while.. patiently nursing it as you waited for me to leave the country before executing your cowardly plan! You did not dare confront me, instead you plot behind my back and try to destory my life. But God laughs at you my friend for he know he made a strong girl out of me and it is going to take more than a few misunderstandings to break me!
I shall seek no revenge for that would make me as lowly as you. I shall patiently await the day your judgement seeks you. |
